Summary:
In her presentation, Amy will cover legal updates in the employee benefits field, looking at both litigation and regulatory changes from the past year. She will give an update on fee litigation for retirement plans as well as regulatory updates on the implementation of Secure 2.0. With respect to employer health plans, she will address recent litigation and state legislation on pharmacy benefits and give a brief update on mental health parity. Finally, with respect to fringe benefits, she will cover recent litigation on nicotine surcharges and guidance on education assistance plans.

Amy Stansfield is an employee benefits attorney with Thompson Coburn LLP. She advises clients on compliance for their health and welfare, retirement, executive compensation, and fringe benefit programs. A native of Indiana, she moved to St. Louis to attend law school in 2015. She lives with her husband and two children in the South City area.
